Osiris Hertman NL, b. 1972

"I focus on creating handcrafted objects, collectible furniture, and exploring different approaches to design."

Osiris Hertman (1972, NL) is a renowned name in the world of design and interior architecture. He graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven, where he studied under Lidewij Edelkoort, and began his career working for Ulf Moritz and later Marcel Wanders before opening his own studio in 1997. Since then he has created award-winning interiors and products, including Fort Resort Beemster and Brass Boer Curaçao, and his work has been published worldwide from Bali to Monaco, and from Italy to Portugal. Hertman's practice spans hotel and restaurant design, custom furniture, tile design and jewellery. His meticulous drawings form the basis of his instantly recognisable style, guiding artisans around the world as they craft each piece by hand.
