MPV Gallery is pleased to announce the new solo exhibition by Belgian artist Stief Desmet (1973, BE). Starting May 9, the gallery will present a selection of recent paintings and sculptures - works that reflect an artistic practice in constant flux, effortlessly crossing boundaries between media.

Stief Desmet investigates the complex interplay between nature and culture. How does humanity manipulate nature, and how does nature turn that manipulation back on us?

MPV Gallery (Mark Peet Visser Gallery) is an internationally operating contemporary art & design gallery and modern art dealer. Since its establishment in 1992, we strive to bring together contemporary and modern art in a way that shows the two are mutually reinforcing.

The gallery represents and collaborates with over forty (inter)national artists of all media, including painting, sculpture, and photography. Works of emerging artists are presented alongside mid-career and established artists. Active in both the primary and secondary markets, MPV Gallery offers a unique selection of collectable artworks carefully selected by gallery owner Mark Peet Visser.

Sculpture Garden

Welcome to MPV Gallery sculpture garden. A carefully curated collection of more than 100 outdoor sculptures, each personally selected by gallery owner Mark Peet Visser. Every sculpture has earned its place because of its power, its uniqueness, and its ability to transform a garden into a unique space with a personal character.

The sculpture garden is not open to the public. You are welcome by invitation only - and that is precisely the intention. What you see is not seen by everyone. Check out a selection of the artists whose work can currently be discovered in the garden.
