Lu Luo (b. 1971, CHN) grew up amid the bustle of an opera house, accompanying her parents and their theater group on their tours of the province. Luo still draws inspiration from this period of her life. She frequently uses elements of traditional Chinese theater costumes and textiles in her work, which she abstractly incorporates into expressive colorful works of art.
