With the exhibition Just Like Giants by David Rosado, MPV Gallery is privileged to be the first to present the artist’s work in the Netherlands.
David Rosado was born in 1976, in Natural Évora, Portugal; he currently lives and works in Lisbon, Portugal. Rosado graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Évora in 2004 and began to exhibit his work in 1996 at the Palacio D. Manuel Évora. He has exhibited in galleries in various cities including New York, Lisbon, and Milan, and has participated in various museum exhibitions, including The Contemporary Art Museum of Malaga and the National Fine Arts Society of Lisbon.
With the juxtaposition of elements, David Rosado addresses contemporary issues of social stratification in a thoughtful and imminent way, from a viewpoint back in the time when everything seemed more simple.
