Overview

The exhibition 'A New Destination' shows detailed pencil drawings of an imaginary world where the viewer is invited to enter an undiscovered urban landscape where no other people are present. This fictional cityscape unravels a story of existential duality between dreams and reality.

During the opening, Rik Smits will give an explanation of his work on the 1st floor of the gallery at 4 p.m. and provide more insight into the many symbolic elements that are incorporated in the drawings.
